What is Promptica?

Promptica is a productivity extension designed for AI power users. It provides a powerful side panel that works seamlessly inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok, allowing you to manage your prompt history, save bookmarks, and use reusable templates without leaving your conversation.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Promptica is built with a privacy-first philosophy. All your data—including bookmarks, templates, and history—is stored locally in your browser. We do not use accounts, we do not sync your data to our servers, and we do not track your usage. Your prompts stay your prompts.

Which AI platforms are supported?

Currently, Promptica supports ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok. You can enable or disable support for each platform individually in the extension's settings page to keep your workspace clean.

Usage & Features

How do I use Prompt Templates?

You can create templates with dynamic variables using the {{variable_name}} syntax. When you select a template from the side panel, Promptica will provide a preview and allow you to fill in the variables before inserting the final prompt into the chat.

How do I backup my data?

Since everything is stored locally, we recommend regular backups. You can export your bookmarks and templates as JSON or CSV files from the extension's Options page. You can also import these files to restore your data on another device.

Can I use Promptica on multiple browsers?

Yes, you can install Promptica on any Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, etc.). To keep your data in sync across devices, you can use the Export/Import feature found in the Options page.
